The Bachelor (Hons) degree programmes at APU provide a range of disciplines in the areas of Information Technology, Business, Actuarial Studies, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Engineering and Media, as well as Computer Games Development and Web Media Technology. All programmes are conducted based on real world learning approaches and curriculum design that focus on enhancing your employability upon graduation.

The 3-years APU Bachelors Degree Programmes are offered through a unique collaborative partnership between APU and Staffordshire University, United Kingdom, through which Staffordshire accredits 3-years undergraduate programmes that are designed and delivered by APU. On completion of the programme, students will be awarded two undergraduate Degree Certificates and Transcripts: one from APU and one from Staffordshire University.

The 3-years APIIT 3+0 UK Degree Programmes are awarded in collaboration with Staffordshire University, United Kingdom.

The 4-years APU Bachelors Engineering Degree Programmes are awarded by APU, Accredited Professionally by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and are therefore recognized internationally under the Washington Accord.

SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTING, FINANCE AND QUANTITATIVE STUDIES
 

Bachelor in Banking & Finance programmes are designed for those seeking to embark on a career in the banking or financial services sector. Either conventional Western banking practice or Islamic based on principles of Syariah. These programmes provide students with a sound theoretical and practical knowledge and skills base which are pre-requisites to successfully embark on a career in the banking sector or within the larger finance environment. 

Bachelor in Quantitative Studies programmes are designed to give students a solid foundation in fundamental mathematics concepts with an aim towards developing logical thinking and analytical skills to build their understanding of mathematical applications in industrial and commercial areas to meet the demand in both existing and emerging industrial sectors.

Upon completion, students are eligible for exemptions for a maximum of 9 papers from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), 6 papers exemptions (All the certificate-level papers and 1 operational-level paper) from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), 8 papers from CPA Australia, 6 papers from Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and 5 or 7 papers from Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) based on the areas of specialisation. Diploma in Accounting are eligible for 3 fundamental modules exemption from ACCA.

APIIT - ANIMATION AND VISUAL EFFECTS
 

If you really love animated movies from Pixar, Dreamworks or Disney, it means this programme is the one for you. You will learn the process of creating series of character design, vehicles and props, background lay-out, traditional animation to the computer animation. Imagination and drawing skill is essential for this particular study.

If you think as an ‘imaginative’ artist, who feels at home in the virtual world, you should consider this course. You’ll learn how to create and adapt your ideas to meet specific needs in film or games, or in modelling virtual environments; visuals which might include characters, vehicles, objects, sets or backgrounds.

If you want to learn the process of creating 3D animation or film using computer, this programme is the right one for you. You will explore the technical skills required to create a digital film and 3D animation production from the stages of pre-production, production and post-production.

If you are inspired by the visual effects sequences you see at the cinema or on TV, this could be your ideal course. You will learn the technical and creative skills in the production pipeline – from filming, 3D modelling and animation, through to compositing and accurate matching of virtual to real camera movements.
