The Department of Accounting and Finance is the largest department in the Business School and leads the research and teaching in the areas of accounting, auditing, taxation and finance. Academic staff in the department teach a diverse range of subjects covering financial accounting, cost and management accounting, audit and assurance, taxation, financial management, corporate finance, financial markets and international financial management. |

• Financial Mathematics & Statistics
The Department of Financial Mathematics and Statistics is one of the newest department in the Business School. Academic staff in the department teach a wide range of statistics, quantitative as well as actuarial science related subjects. The department academic staff main research interest is in the quantitative analysis and modelling for actuarial science and other business applications.

• Law
The Department of Law is one of the five departments in the Business School. Academic staff in the department teach business law and company law. Areas of research interest include corporate law, money laundering and insurance law. |

• Centre for Tourism, Hospitality & Culinary Management
Sunway programmes validated by LCB are: Diploma in Culinary Arts, Diploma in Events Management, Diploma in Hotel Management and BSc (Hons) in International Hospitality Management. These programmes provide strong technical skills and sound management principles where the learning materials have been revised and adapted to ensure their relevance to current and anticipated industry needs.
The uniqueness of the programmes is that students are able to earn an international reputable qualification provided by an established Malaysian institution of higher learning which has high relevance to the Malaysia and international job market. In addition, course consultants from our collaborative partners work closely with Sunway University to ensure that the standards and quality of teaching are equivalent to those maintained at the partner institutions. |
